What is your greatest distraction?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 26, 2008:

Aside from the internet? My day job. Luckily, I will be leaving my day job and going back to graduate school in the fall, but I do tend to use the internet entirely too much. I get wrapped up in all the information I find on it and forget what I need and want to get done.

What are your rituals or beliefs around food?

Posted on Jun 22nd, 2008 by babblingfreak : babblingfreak babblingfreak
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 22, 2008:

I believe that we live in a society that has a very sick relationship to food. It's hard to find an honest, true nutrional guide and most people have access to food like substances but I wouldn
t call a lot of the American diet "food". I would love to go raw, at leats 75%, and I am on my way there, I think. It's hard for me to readjust my lifestyle and schedule at the moment regarding food but slowly, old habits will be replaced.

Anyone have tips for getting out of graduate school without debt?

Posted on Jun 15th, 2008 by babblingfreak : babblingfreak babblingfreak
I have a dream: (well I have many) but one is to get out of my graduate program debt free or thereabouts.

Does anyone have ideas?

I put together a scholarship and/or fund attracting website just to see what hits, and I am saving money but close to having to stop working for the program, also planning to sell stuff on ebay and in garage sales, etc,  but any tips would be awesome.

How do you respond to being alone?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 14, 2008:

Honestly, I love being alone. I don't think we ever truly are alone, though either, we're all part of a larger whole, sent out to find more about everything through our differences and similarities as parts of the whole. I think it's important to have alone time for growth and reflection, rejuvination, and inspiration.

How do you handle change in your life?

Posted on Jun 8th, 2008 by babblingfreak : babblingfreak babblingfreak
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 08, 2008:

This year alone, I have gone through many changes- I got into grad school, I am leaving my job of 2 years,  I became an aunt again twice!, I saw my brother get married yesterday, I moving across the country in the fall and leaving all my family and friends to do it.

I am pretty familiar with change. I think change is beautiful. It is the only constant in life. I handle it by trying to stay open to the present moment and enjoy what is happening now. I would suggest to anyone going to a change to keep your attention in the now and take things as they come. It's easier to handle change if you accept it gracefully.

Good luck :)
